After a short hiatus, I’ve just finished a new batch of the Flourless Dark Chocolate Cakes, in 3 varieties of flavours (orange, hazelnut, and almond). The one below is the individual size, large enough for 2 or more (or one little piggy ). There is also an 8 inch size, which can serve up to 16. It has candied orange peel and Cointreau, and is covered in a glossy layer of dark chocolate ganache and elegant decorations. Gluten-free, rich, and dense enough that just a little satisfies!

Happy Father’s Day! This week I will be serving our delicious Borscht in the bistro (Wed.-Fri. 11 am. - 2 pm.), made with Farmer Steve’s beets, red cabbage, and red potatoes (sour cream is optional). We are also serving our new Israeli Summer Salad, with tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, peppers, chick peas, Feta, fresh mint, olive oil and lemon. The vegetables are finely diced, distinguishing it from its chunkier Greek cousin. Both are accompanied by our fresh Rosemary Focaccia buns. Bon appetit!

Four kinds of Hot Bourekas at the market on Sat. (including the Cheese & Dill, below); three kinds of Focaccia Pizzas including Smoked Pastrami (get ready to put mustard on a pizza!); four kinds of buttery morning pastries; and two of the best breads on the planet: the Jewish Rye and the Beer Boule with caramelized onions. :) See you there. . .
