Our first market of the season on Front St. was a success. The Walla Team (welcome our good friend Natalie Biggs!) did a great job, customers like you came by to support us, and we sold out. I’ll be baking even more this weekend as a result, and also for Mother’s Day. This Friday (at the Cannery) and Saturday (at the market) I’ll have Chocolate Babkas, and on Sat. I’ll be baking the Curried Mushroom & Eggplant Bourekas (below) for the first time in awhile.

It's market time again every Saturday! We'll be at our stall on Front. St., opposite the Starbucks lawn, from 8:30 am. to 2 pm. (closed at our Cannery location). You can place an order by emailing us at wallafoods@shaw.ca. We will hold orders until noon. Our Summer Hours for retail and lunch in the bistro from May 6th until Thanksgiving are as follows: Cannery retail hours: Wed. - Fri. 8 am. – 3 pm. Lunch served at The Cannery: Wed. – Fri. 11 am. – 2 pm. Saturdays at the Market on Front St.: 8:30 am. – 2 pm. See you at the market!
